The role

This position reports directly to the Head of Euston Station Operations and involves close collaboration with colleagues, including industry partners and Network Rail teams. Together, you’ll deliver vital station support activities that enhance daily operations, elevate the customer experience, as well as driving continuous improvements throughout the station.

About the role (External)


Key Accountabilities:

1. Undertake general office administration including the control of mail, coordinating of diaries, filling and maintenance of personal records and the arranging of travel.

2. Organise meetings and the production and dissemination of documentation to support them.

3. Adhere to financial and procurement procedures and act as local purchasing agent, where directed, by ordering stationary and other consumables as required.

4. Collate customer information requirements and monitor that all station information and publicity material is in date and adheres to company guidelines.

5. Assist in gathering information regarding accidents, incidents and claims and liaise with relevant parties.

6. Arrange access for filming and assist with arranging exhibitions and promotions on the station.

7. Order, control and issue Personal Protective Equipment and Rule Books for the station team.

8. Undertake administrative tasks as directed.

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
  • Good written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Experience in the use of company IT packages.

Desirable
  • A high standard of accuracy and speed in audio/copy typing

Salary: Circa £28,000
