Are you passionate about inspiring children through sport and physical activity?
Drapers Mills Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a fixed term maternity cover contract ending on the 23/07/2026
This is an exciting opportunity to help children aged 4–11 develop physical skills, confidence, and a love for movement through engaging PE lessons and extracurricular activities. You’ll play a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and positive attitudes toward sport within our school community.
The ideal Sports Coach will be someone who is:
- Experienced with working with primary-aged children.
- Someone energetic, Enthusiastic, reliable, and confident in leading a range of sports and activities.
- A great communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A team player who is committed to the safety, well-being, and development of all children.
- Understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we are supporting
- Confident in using a range of resources to make Physical Education engaging
- Able to contribute to the wider life of the trust
- Committed to raise the achievement of all students of all abilities
