Summary
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Receptionist / Leisure Attendant to join our team at Breamish Valley Spa, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our spa and leisure facilities.
This is a dual role that combines front-of-house reception duties with hands-on support in our leisure and relaxation areas. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys a varied workday, has great communication skills, and takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming environment for guests.
Your contributions will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
Greet guests and provide a warm, professional welcome
Handle bookings, enquiries, and payments (in person, by phone, and online)
Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Provide information about treatments, facilities, and memberships
Leisure Attendant Duties:
Ensure all spa and leisure areas are clean, safe, and well-presented
Set up and monitor relaxation and treatment spaces
Support therapists and spa staff with guest needs and room turnover
Monitor pool/thermal areas if applicable
Deliver and collect laundry throughout workday
Clean Floatation room between sessions
Requirements
Previous customer service or receptionist experience (ideally in a spa, hotel, or leisure setting)
Friendly, professional manner with excellent communication skills
A team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
Comfortable working shifts, including Saturdays
