Your mission
As a Solutions Consultant you will partner with our sales team to demonstrate the value of Upvest to prospective clients and develop a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
A key part of this role involves streamlining and accelerating the technical pre-sales process by developing and managing standardised technical content and steering RFI/RFP processes (including implementing a state-of-the-art tooling stack). This role involves seamless cross-functional collaboration with our product, engineering, operations and banking teams, to ensure we are developing comprehensive solutions that address all requirements.

In this role, you’ll work closely with and consult Europe’s top financial services companies and fintechs. Owning and conducting thorough discovery to understand prospective clients’ business and technical requirements you’ll present and lead engaging, customised demonstrations that clearly articulate Upvest's value.
Act as a trusted technical advisor
As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll become a recognised expert in Upvest’s product offering and the investment infrastructure market. You’ll help create and maintain a comprehensive library of standardised technical content including solution deep-dives and architecture diagrams. You'll ensure this content is consistently updated to reflect new product releases and market developments. You’ll lead responses for RFIs and RFPs, including coordinating with internal teams to gather information and maintaining our repository of responses, to ensure consistent high quality submissions.
Drive cross-functional collaboration
Partnering with sales, you will develop and deliver compelling solutions workshops and product deep-dives. You will contribute to building scalable processes and materials that streamline the sales cycle and facilitate client onboarding. Operating in a regulated environment, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration across all Upvest departments (from product and engineering, to operations and banking) to ensure solution compliance.
What you’ll bring
Experience across solutions engineering/consulting, technical sales or client facing consulting roles within complex financial services.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, effectively engaging both business and technical stakeholders.
Experience creating client-facing collateral including design artifacts, and technical specifications, with a strong attention to detail.
Keen interest in tooling to support and enhance solution processes and strong project management skills to ensure delivery.
Good technical understanding and a passion for technology and the investment market with a proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing.
