We’re Hiring: Smart Agile Connected Officer

Location: Covering sites in Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Pay: £15.04 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30-17:30 & Saturday, 07:30-13:30

As a Mobile Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported.

Whether you’re patrolling key sites across multiple sites, responding to incidents, or enhancing resilience throughout the branch network, you’ll be a vital part of a high-end Dedicated Mobile Security service. As a Mobile Officer, you’ll help safeguard employees, property, and assets—delivering peace of mind with every shift.

Job Description


Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Deliver high-end mobile security services
  • Respond swiftly to threats, incidents, and wellbeing concerns
  • Support colleagues and clients with a proactive, visible security presence
  • Gather incident evidence using Body Worn Cameras when directed
  • Follow instructions from the Joint Operations Centre and local client representatives
  • Maintain the highest level of bearing and deportment at all times
  • Stay alert, inquisitive, and engaged throughout your shift
  • Enhance security and resilience across the branch network

Qualifications


What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection licence
  • Full, clean UK manual driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good IT proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physically fit and resilient (due to long driving hours)
  • Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS checks (location dependent)
