Responsibilities
- Perform general labour tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and temporary structures.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring role or similar position is essential.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A commitment to safety practices in the workplace is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime on occasion.
