We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and clean-up of job sites, ensuring all materials are organised and readily available.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the installation of fixtures, fittings, and other components as directed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a similar field is required for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is needed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities will be highly valued.
