Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, enforcing venue policies, and providing assistance in emergency situations.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the safety of both staff and patrons.
- Provide first aid assistance as needed, ensuring that all guests receive prompt care in case of medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a secure environment throughout the venue.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures, addressing any violations in a professional manner.
- Prepare incident reports as necessary, documenting any security-related occurrences for future reference.
Experience
- Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations, is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and first aid certification will be considered beneficial.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
