We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, managing crowd control, and upholding the venue's policies while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV to identify any suspicious activities.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age restrictions and dress codes.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure that all incidents are reported appropriately.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanour while interacting with guests.
- Manage crowd control during busy periods to ensure a safe environment for all patrons and staff.
- Manage safe entry and exit for staff.
- Accompanying promotional staff when required.
Requirements
- Valid Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- Experience in security or a similar role is preferred.
- Current First aid certificate minimum Emergency First Aid.
- Strong communication skills including conflict resolution with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills to detect unusual behaviour or potential threats.
