Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our service & installation department, providing essential support to both staff and customers.
Duties
- Order the correct kit required for all installations, extras, faults, and engineering consumables.
- Liaise with distributors and make sure all costs for kit are correct.
- Speak to distributors to source better-priced products and alternatives.
- Make sure the kit is delivered to the office and provisioned for the correct installation, extra & fault dates.
- Make sure all kit is delivered to the customer's site in time for the installation, extra, or fault.
- Log all information on customer accounts/projects on CRM to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Liaise with the Technical Engineer regarding kit lists and up-and-coming installs.
- Return all faulty equipment to suppliers.
- Liaise with engineers to make sure they have a good level of consumables.
- Liaise with accounts regarding kit allocation and stock levels.
- Demonstrate knowledge of key products and services.
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
- Build effective inter-departmental working relationships.
- Understand Health and Safety policy and procedures.
- Provide any requested monthly/weekly reports on time and accurately.
- Additional ad-hoc reports and duties.
- Ensure that the offices and working space is kept clean and tidy.
