Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Prepare basic food items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary basics is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest services.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
