You’ll operate as a senior leader, driving collaboration across Field Support, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Strategy functions. By integrating intelligent planning systems, design thinking principles, and advanced performance analytics, you will redefine the standards of operational excellence across Virgin Media O2.
This is a pivotal opportunity to drive AI-powered planning, reimagine legacy processes, and influence operational performance at scale. The successful candidate will bring strategic foresight, thought leadership, and innovation to transform how we plan and deploy our in-house and partner field resources. The must haves- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams through change, transformation, and process redesign
- Strong experience in resource planning, operations leadership, or workforce management within a complex, customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in deploying AI or machine learning solutions to optimise workforce utilisation or operational planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying actionable insights from performance data
- Resilient, outcome-focused, and able to prioritise multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and inspire a team of Resource Managers and Planners to deliver intelligent, customer-centric resource deployment across in-house and contract partner field operations.
- Spearhead the transformation of planning processes through the adoption of AI tools, automation, and data-led decision making to improve SLA adherence and customer outcomes
- Lead the design and implementation of new ways of working that streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and drive value across the wider business.
- Collaborate with other senior stakeholders to develop robust, achievable monthly plans for install, fault, and upgrade activity, ensuring resource capacity and capability meets demand
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to align plans with evolving commercial and strategic priorities.
