Glasgow City HSCP – North East
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated pharmacy support worker to join the Glasgow City HSCP Primary Care Pharmacy team.
As a key member of the Prescribing Support Team you will assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians by undertaking routine medicines management tasks as well as working autonomously. Some of these tasks may require a moderate degree of technical expertise. You will also be required to discuss use of medicines over the phone with patients.
This role will be primarily based within our Northeast Pharmacy Hub supporting delivery of the pharmacotherapy service as part of the GP contract. The role will also include working with GPs, the primary care multidisciplinary teams and care homes to improve medicines management and deliver excellent patient care.
I confirm that I have previous or current experience working with medicines and/or in a healthcare environment.?
Following standard operating procedures, you will coordinate the collection of information, input and analyse data, update clinical records as appropriate and collate information in support of quality medication reviews or cost efficiency programmes.
