The Role
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on finance professional eager to make a real impact. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be a trusted business partner, supporting senior leadership with financial and commercial insights to drive growth.
The right individual will be technically strong (from an accounting standards perspective), excellent in excel, and experienced at forecasting and putting together presentations for a board.
The key deliverables being:
Supporting the FD in answering urgent finance queries from our board, shareholders and management team
Join in with key Technical Accounting decisions – Review the financial modelling outputs and provide insight under both UKGAAP and IFRS
Prepare new business proposals – Manage approvals for new business/renewals and support customer presentations.
Partner with the Lenvi Senior Leadership team and Finance team – Ensure resource capacity meets commercial performance needs , ensuring the requirements of HR and Compliance are covered.
Review & improve performance – Analyse actual vs. forecast, take action, and support decisions.
Provide clear reporting – Deliver timely insights to track and enhance commercial performance.
Lead & develop team members and colleagues – Support colleagues to excel and provide top-tier finance partnership.
What you will be doing:
Leading the team in improving the maintenance of and reconciliation between the UKGAAP and IFRS accounting models
Managing internal proposals for new business/renewals, securing approvals and preparing customer presentations.
Reviewing commercial performance, taking corrective action, and providing decision support while engaging relevant teams.
Analysing competitor activity and financial performance to identify risks and opportunities.
Improving processes and systems to support commercial and financial goals, preventing revenue loss.
Leading and developing the team to ensure high performance and excellent Finance Business Partner support.
What we are looking for from you:
Qualified & Experienced – Degree , and accounting qualification with post-qualification experience, including strong technical accounting skills, ideally in both UKGAAP & IFRS .
Finance Business Partnering – Proven experience in a business-facing finance role with adaptability to change.
Proactive Mindset – We are looking for someone who spots unexpected consequences, and flags or investigates them, who checks carefully for errors before issuing work
Analytical excellence – you will be able to demonstrate your excel and modelling capability from day 1
Commercial Acumen – Analyse and challenge performance, investments, and strategic plans.
Strong Leadership – Ability to collaborate, and follow a task through to completion without being chased
Relationship Builder – Support and challenge colleagues constructively across functions.
Risk & Trend Analysis – Use data to assess risks and balance commercial priorities.
Stakeholder Management – Handle sensitive issues with confidence and discretion.
