Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and support other caregivers, ensuring adherence to care standards and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to provide updates on care progress and any concerns.
- Drive residents to appointments or social activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in senior care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting residents when required.
- Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care plans and documentation is an advantage.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
