Waking nights Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
We’re recruiting dedicated, compassionate, caring and flexible waking night shift Personal Assistant to join our small skilled team to provide care to our 16 year old daughter to support her at her residential deaf school.
She is a bright, determined and able young person who is living with a medical condition that requires close monitoring but minimal intervention. She is active, funny and lives life to the full.
Experience of working in a similar role is essential to join our team. We provide full person-centred training specific to our daughters needs. We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills and can work effectively and fairly within in a team as well being confident working 1:1.
In addition to clinical skills we need you to use British Sign Language as daughter is a Deaf British Sign Language user.
Tasks include but not limited to;
Gastrostomy
Medication Management
Nebuliser, ventilation, Oxygen/Saturation Monitoring
Tracheostomy care
Any offers are subject to full DBS check, receipt of 2 references and checking the legal right to live and work in the UK.
Non smoker or vaper.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 21 months
Pay: From £18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
