Role Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Bridal Sales Consultant to lead the day-to-day operations of our boutique. The ideal candidate will be passionate about bridal fashion and customer service, with a strong focus on sales performance. In addition to client-facing responsibilities, the role involves overseeing social media, ordering and inventory, admin tasks, and sales and stock planning.
Key Responsibilities - Sales & Client Experience
- Lead appointments, delivering outstanding, personalised service to every bride
- Achieve and exceed monthly and seasonal sales targets
- Train and support part-time or junior team members to maximise sales performance
- Maintain strong product knowledge across all bridal collections and accessories
- Ensure a warm, welcoming, and stylish in-store environment
Operations & Stock Management
- Manage ordering process and liaise with designers and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of all sales, orders, and payments
- Oversee incoming and outgoing stock, conduct regular stocktakes and audits
- Ensure all samples and gowns are properly cared for and presented to standard
Social Media & Marketing
- Manage boutique’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Plan and schedule regular content including stories, reels, and posts
- Work with owner on marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activity
- Capture and share content from appointments (with client consent)
Administrative Duties
- Manage client database, appointment bookings, and follow-ups
- Track key metrics including sales performance, customer feedback, and trends
- Handle invoicing, ordering paperwork, and other boutique administration
- Support with planning and reporting, including monthly and seasonal reviews
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in luxury retail or bridal sales (managerial experience a plus)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of retail operations and stock control
- Confident with social media platforms and content creation
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills
- A natural ability to connect with people and a genuine passion for weddings
- Comfortable using booking, POS, and inventory systems
