We believe that good bread is about passion and about commitment, so we’re looking for someone who’s as passionate and committed to making great products as we are to join our team.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional baking experience, specifically in baking breads, making doughs, baking cakes and pastries. Applicants should also be confident working independently, as well as part of a team. We are small and independent, and we’re looking for someone creative who would like to see their own ideas and creations in the hands of our customers. Working under the supervision of our head baker, our new senior baker will be expected to lead shifts, uphold standards, and ensure products are ready on time when our head baker is off.
Shifts would start in the early morning and last between 8-10 hours. We offer free staff food and coffee on shift, as well as bread to take home.
Guild of Dough started in November 2020, during lockdown, and we opened our own bakery on Ashley Down road in December 2021, where we cater to our community of local customers and our wholesale clients from across Bristol.
