Ecolution International Group Ltd is a fast-growing and innovative service provider dedicated to helping businesses and brands establish and expand their presence in the UK market. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including warehousing, logistics, system integration, e-commerce marketing, e-commerce sales, and B2B sales channel development.
As a Senior Account Officer at Ecolution, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial operations and reporting. You will ensure accurate financial data, monitor day-to-day accounting functions, and support strategic decisions with timely and insightful financial reporting. Your expertise will support our rapid growth and complex multi-service environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full set of accounts and daily financial operations across multiple service lines (warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, B2B).
- Perform monthly and year-end closing, ensuring accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Manage bank reconciliations, account payables/receivables, and intercompany transactions.
- Monitor and analyse cash flow to support operational efficiency and financial planning.
- Prepare regular financial reports and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, VAT returns, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Implement and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to junior accounting staff, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; part-qualified/qualified (e.g., ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in logistics, trading, or e-commerce sectors.
- Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) speaking is desirable but not essential.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
