About Us: The Playbarn is a huge three level soft play area with giant slides, ball cannons, ball showers, multi-level play opportunities and dedicated toddler area. We are leading provider in creating memorable and fun-filled parties for kids of all ages. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences that leave lasting impressions.
Job Description: There’s no party like a wild zoo party! As a Party Host at Blackpool Zoo, you'll turn birthdays and special events into unforgettable celebrations. Your role is to lead the fun – from organising party games to singing "Happy Birthday" with enthusiasm and flair. You’ll create a lively atmosphere where every guest, big or small, leaves with a smile. Duties include setting up party areas, entertaining children, serving party food, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. If you’re outgoing, energetic, and love bringing joy to children, this is the perfect role for you. Get ready to make every celebration a roaring success!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities and games for children's parties.
  • Engage with children and parents to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all party guests.
  • Set up and clean up party areas before and after events.
  • Coordinate with parents and guardians to understand their specific party needs and preferences.
  • Manage party schedules and ensure events run smoothly and on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the party.
  • Maintain a positive and energetic attitude throughout the event.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and entertain children of various ages.
  • Creative and resourceful in planning activities and games.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
