Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at Boston Tea Party. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting our chefs in food preparation, and ensuring that our café continues to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to in the kitchen.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies when necessary.
- Support team members during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- A passion for food and hospitality.
