Bagwell Farm Touring Park is a quiet, friendly, award-winning touring park on the Jurassic Coast Road, 1 mile West of Chickerell. We have pitches for tents, caravans and motorvans and are open all year round.
We are proud of our clean facilities and our close connection to nature.
We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance team member to help keep our award-winning holiday park in great condition.
You will work in a team to keep the park running smoothly and all facilities well maintained and always spotless. This will include a diverse range of jobs including:
Maintaining grounds, facilities and equipment and carrying out cleaning, painting, repairs and maintenance; reacting to breakages and carring out smaller repairs.
Being the recycling "champion" inspiring others to upcycle and to separate waste efficiently.
While this is primarily a daytime job, weekend working is essential. Overtime is not usual but the occasional early start or late finish might be required.
Essential skills:
- Ability to use strimming/ mowing equipment
- Ability to assist with gardening duties - watering and dead-heading flowers, and weeding
- Ability to feed farm animals and putting them away when needed
- An enthusiasm for sustainability and wildlife.
Desirable skills (training can be given):
- Tractor driving
- Caravan towing
- Warden duties
- Managing a hot tub to commercial standards
- Customer service
- Tradesman skills (including electrical and plumbing)
