Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimisation strategies to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic. You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure that our digital content is optimised for search engines and aligned with best practices.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimisation.
- Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies, including metadata, headings, and internal linking structures.
- Utilise Google Search Console and other analytics tools to monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the content management team to ensure that all web content is optimised for search engines while maintaining high-quality user experience.
- Manage and optimise the company’s WordPress site, ensuring all technical aspects adhere to SEO best practices.
- Implement tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager to measure the effectiveness of SEO initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to continually improve our strategies.
- Assist in social media management efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms.
Experience
- Proven experience in search engine optimisation (SEO) with a strong understanding of Google algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development principles is advantageous.
- Experience in managing social media accounts is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
