Our customers value our non-traditional ethos, and sales progression plays a pivotal role in building relationships and adding value at every step. You will be responsible for holding hands of both the buyers and sellers from the point of offer acceptance to completion. Your role will involve handling sometimes tricky objections, providing outstanding customer service, and building strong relationships with all clients and referral partners/solicitors/surveyors/other estate agents in chains, etc.
Sales Progressor role:
- Proactively liaising between parties and clients to ensure both buyers and sellers receive the best possible service.
- Managing expectations of both buyers and sellers
- Ensuring our internal system is constantly updated with written notes
- Proactively managing chains
- Solution finding for any objections/issues that arise and working on these in a preventative manner.
- Oversee and positively influence and add value to the entire property transaction process, for buyers and sellers, from offer acceptance to completion.
- Working towards exchange targets as well as other KPI’s each month.
Customer Service and Relationship Building:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and buyers. Noting that whilst we work for the sellers, we want the buyer to have a great experience and are conscious of their position as a potential future client.
Communication and Liaison:
- Act as the central point of contact for vendors and buyers, providing regular updates throughout the transaction.
- Liaise with mortgage brokers, surveyors, estate agents in chains, and solicitors to facilitate smooth communication and cooperation.
Problem-Solving
- Identify and address potential obstacles, working collaboratively with stakeholders to find solutions.
- Mitigate risks and ensure a successful and timely completion of transactions.
Objection Handling:
- Skillfully handle objections that may arise during the transaction process, ensuring a positive resolution.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a real estate sales progression role or conveyancing.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills are essential
- Detail-oriented and focused on delivering accurate and timely results.
- Knowledge of the property sales and conveyancing process and legal requirements.
- Proficient in using relevant software and systems.
- A creative and level-headed approach to problem-solving
- Excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver results independently, but within a team environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of property compliance and Anti Money Laundering regulations
