About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a well-established company, supporting both customers and internal departments. Full training will be given in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Managing the main office inbox and handling inbound calls
- Providing quotations and making product recommendations based on customer requirements
- Supporting the sales team and senior management with administrative tasks (e.g., document preparation, scheduling)
- Processing purchase orders and ensuring smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Entering sales orders using internal systems and verifying stock availability
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients and managing customer accounts
- Liaising with suppliers for pricing and delivery timelines to ensure customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Customer-focused, confident, and enthusiastic
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and organised
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- A-levels or equivalent preferred; minimum GCSE grade 5 (C) in English and Maths
- Previous office experience and familiarity with CRM or order-processing systems is advantageous—but not essential as full training is provided
- Willingness to spend initial training time within production to understand the full product range
