Safeguarding and Attendance Officer
Grade E 11-16 £27,269-£29,572 per annum, *to be pro-rated
Hours of Work: 36 hours per week, Term Time +5 days

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of student support and safeguarding systems within the Academy. To work as part of the attendance team and closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure consistency, efficiency and rigour in our approach to both safeguarding and attendance procedures.
The Safeguarding and Attendance Officer will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to ensure effective safeguarding and attendance processes across the school. This role will focus on monitoring daily student attendance, supporting attendance interventions, and supporting the management of safeguarding concerns logged via the school’s Child Protection Online Monitoring System (CPOMS). The post-holder will work closely with the wider attendance team and provide essential support to the DSL and DDSL in safeguarding matters.
A willingness to be flexible in your approach and the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations is essential.
