Are you passionate about retail and ready to make a difference? Join our friendly team at Wessex Cancer Support as a Retail Support Assistant! This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same - perfect for someone who’s proactive, people-focused, and tech-savvy.
The hours of work are 2 days per week - working Tuesday and Wednesday 9.15am to 5.15pm (15 hours per week).
What You’ll Do:
- Support daily shop operations and step in for the Shop Manager when needed
- Lead and motivate volunteers, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Help drive sales and Gift Aid contributions in-store and online
- Get creative with online listings, social media, and digital promotions
- Represent our charity at local events and in the community
What You’ll Bring:
- Retail and team leadership experience
- Ability to work unsupervised, but also be able to work as part of a team.Confidence using email, Microsoft Office, and online platforms
- A flair for fashion and an eye for trends and popular brands
- A positive, can-do attitude and great communication skills
Practical Bits:
- Must have access to reliable transport or good public transport links
- Flexibility to cover holidays and absence
