Summary
We are looking for a confident, flexible Retail Supervisor to support operations across multiple showrooms. You will play a key role in driving sales, supporting team development, and maintaining standards across sites. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a varied environment and enjoys leading from the front.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day running of multiple showrooms and concession stands
- Provide exceptional customer service and expert product guidance
- Support training, coaching, and performance monitoring of showroom staff
- Resolve escalated customer queries and complaints across sites
- Ensure visual merchandising and store standards are consistent
- Travel between branches as required to provide supervisory cover and support
- Provide cover for staff absences or shortages in any showroom as needed, including travel between sites on short notice
- Help coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure operational coverage
- Manage stock levels and liaise with the fitting and logistics teams
- Ensure showrooms and concessions receive customer orders and sundry items in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies at all locations
- Report to Retail Manager regularly and effectively to ensure retail operations remain robust
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a retail supervisory or team leader role
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Ability to work across multiple locations with a full driving licence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and a flexible approach
- Basic IT literacy (email, POS, CRM/order systems)
Desirable:
- Experience in interiors, home improvement, or made-to-measure products
- Visual merchandising knowledge
- Understanding of team leadership and performance support
