Salary 30.000 per year plus tronc ( £900+ per month)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in our three rosette dining room, bar area's and gardens, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, coordinating with kitchen operations, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service at a minimum of 2 rosette level, with excellent team skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front of house staff, including waitstaff and bartenders, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Train new employees on restaurant procedures, food safety standards, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and quality control.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and bar areas.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to ensure adherence to hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Experience in food production or cooking is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in bartending skills is considered a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
