- Unqualified : £13.25/hour (rising after 6-month probation)
- Qualified : £13.50/hour (rising after 6-month probation)

About the Role
We’re partnering with a highly regarded children’s residential care provider to recruit Day Support Workers for their homes supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). These roles involve long-day shifts with optional sleep-ins, offering consistency, therapeutic support, and meaningful daily engagement.

Responsibilities
- Deliver child-centred, therapeutic care in a consistent and nurturing environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and the team
- Facilitate routines, education, activities, and life skills support
- Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, and independence
Requirements
- Experience with children or young people in care, education, or support settings (preferred)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work toward it)
- Must commit to 36+ hours per week including long shifts and optional sleep-ins
- Driver preferred due to location
- Enhanced DBS required
- If needing sponsorship : 3 years UK work history required and 2-year minimum commitment
Shift Pattern
- Day Shifts Only: 7am–10pm / 8am–11pm
- Optional Sleep-ins: 10pm–7am / 11pm–8am (£60 per night)
- Rotas will vary and can be discussed based on availability and sustainability
