● Plan and manage research/engagement projects that have been identified as key priority areas/concerns as highlighted by community and stakeholder insight.

● Lead on designing surveys in line with desired outcomes and good research practices.

● Analyse and interpret data gathered from community insight and lead on creating quality evidence-based reports, including recommendations for the improvement of health and social care services.

● Produce promotional materials such as leaflets and banners to advertise Healthwatch Rotherham, our services, and our events.

● Represent Healthwatch Rotherham at any meetings and committees with local providers and commissioners when needed.

● Create and contribute to the original content for publication in local media, social media, websites and in the newsletters/communications of statutory, voluntary and community organisations.

● To take the lead role in the management of Healthwatch Rotherham’s website and social media platforms to promote content and increase the profile and reach of Healthwatch Rotherham, liaising with the social media volunteer to support this work.

● Create a monthly newsletter providing service updates to be distributed to the mailing list.

● Contribute to the monitoring of the organisation’s monthly performance through a combination of Google Analytics, engagement reports and annual reports to be shared with commissioners.

● Reporting our anonymised data & reports with Healthwatch England.

● Uploading all our reports into the SY ICB data insights bank

● Be an active team member in the co-design of focus projects to highlight disparities in the health & social care system.

● Create visually engaging quarterly reports to support the Service manager’s information sharing with health & social care shareholders.

● Accurately record data responsibilities on HWR performance management spreadsheet.

● Support the Community Engagement Officer with relevant community engagement activities i.e. Let’s Talk & visiting Rotherham groups to gather community feedback.

● To work with the Information & Signposting Officer to implement and deliver effective information and signposting services directly to Rotherham residents via face to face, telephone, video, email, and outreach sessions.

● To contribute towards updates for the Healthwatch Rotherham Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) and minute take at the bi-monthly meetings.

● Undertake any other activities required to enable Healthwatch Rotherham to fulfil its statutory duties in align with its Kpi’s.

● Undertake continuous training relevant to the role to aid personal and professional development.

● Play an active role in the support needed to our student placements to enrich their experience in their career development in health and social care.

● Ability to travel to Rotherham as and when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,024.00 per year
