The Service Delivery team are fundamental to our company, by combining the rich experience of our people with the innovative use of our technology, Nomia brings a unique and disruptive procurement solution to our customers to better-manage their tail spend. Service Delivery is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for customer tail spend projects.

Nomia is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person to join our team. You will help shape the future of Nomia’s Service Delivery function within their region, and will therefore be a driven, self-starter who is looking to be part of an exciting journey within a procure-tech company.

We are looking for our regional buying teams to be spending some of their time face-to-face with our customers and suppliers, this person should therefore be a commutable distance to a Nomia office, and be able to travel to our customers or suppliers if required, with limited travel anticipated, primarily within region.

Key Responsibilities

As the Regional Buying Hub Lead, you will:

  • Define and execute a regional procurement strategy aligned with Nomia’s objectives and customer requirements.
  • Develop trusted relationships with suppliers and partners in-region to support Nomia’s customer spend.
  • Implement appropriate SRM, and governance to monitor and measure supplier performance.
  • Analyse supplier data to identify trends, rationalisation opportunities, and commercial insights.
  • Create relevant procure-technology and tail spend thought leadership content within region.
  • Manage regional supplier onboarding and, where required, supplier platform adoption and training.
  • Forecast future supplier requirements for Nomia, execute against a plan to pro-actively engage with suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively with other functions, including business development, technology, customer success, legal, and finance, to ensure alignment of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Influence product roadmap, utilising supplier feedback and insights.
  • Manage regional hub team, and as a leader at Nomia, Mentor and coach buyer, senior buyer, manager and senior manager level team members.
  • Serve as the People Lead for the regional buying hub, managing performance, coaching, and development of team members (Buyers, Senior Buyers, Managers).
  • Represent Nomia in customer and supplier meetings within the region.

Qualifications/Skills

  • 10+ years of experience working in a sourcing & Procurement role.
  • Proven ability to lead category strategies & SRM initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of sourcing and procurement, S2P workflows and processes, and technologies.
  • Advanced level of experience of data analysis, sourcing, commercial and contract negotiation, and SRM.
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS is advantageous.
  • Effective, empathetic verbal and written communication with all levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading and managing teams

General

  • Ensure compliance with Nomia’s data protection and information security policies.
  • Whilst this position is Hybrid, three days a week working from the office is required, possibly more whilst training and if requested by supervisor.

  • Foster and promote continuous improvement in systems and processes.
