We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Recruitment Specialist to play a key role in our HR team, helping us grow by finding, engaging, and onboarding exceptional people across all areas of the business.
What you’ll do
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll manage full end-to-end recruitment campaigns, from sourcing the perfect candidates to ensuring their first day is a success. You’ll work closely with managers across departments – from Customer Services and Warehousing to Specialist functions – to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience that reflects our Gear4music employer brand.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing both high-volume and specialist recruitment campaigns.
- Using your recruitment expertise to source, attract, and select top talent.
- Handling all recruitment administration, including issuing contracts and onboarding paperwork.
- Ensuring a smooth, welcoming onboarding experience for all new starters.
- Producing weekly and monthly recruitment reports and data analysis.
- Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting Gear4music as an employer of choice.
- Supporting, coaching, and developing other members of the recruitment team.
About you
You’ll be a proactive, organised, and people-focused recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. You’ll have a strong track record in both high-volume and specialist recruitment, ideally gained in an in-house role, and will be confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
We’d love you to have:
- Proven recruitment experience (in-house background preferred).
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding systems, from offer through to Day One.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, able to build relationships and influence effectively.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Knowledge of visa applications, right-to-work checks, and employment legislation.
- Experience in producing recruitment reports, salary analysis, and managing budgets.
- A positive, can-do attitude, leading by example.
