On-Target Earnings (OTE): £22,000 – £26,000 pro-rata
About PeopleDesk
PeopleDesk is the brand-new recruitment division of i24 Group, a venture studio and holding company. We’re a boutique, people-first recruitment agency, specialising in commercial office-based roles, business support positions, and light industrial roles.
Our first location is launching from our Cardiff office, and we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to lead the way — someone who can establish PeopleDesk in Cardiff and across Wales while working closely with our senior management team.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a commercial recruitment desk and build it from the ground up. You’ll manage the full 360 recruitment process and play a key role in shaping PeopleDesk’s success in Wales.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing strong relationships with local employers and securing vacancies
- Sourcing, screening, and matching suitable candidates to open roles
- Managing the entire process from first contact to successful placement
- Approaching new employers through calls, emails, networking, and outreach
- Attending local business events and networking meetings where needed
- Recruiting for roles both for external clients and, occasionally, for i24 Group’s internal teams
- These internal placements will count towards your monthly billings and contribute to your target earnings
- Ensuring you consistently hit monthly placement targets and revenue goals
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s experienced, driven, and personable — a recruiter who thrives on building relationships and achieving results.
You’ll need to:
- Have previous 360 recruitment experience (commercial or light industrial ideal)
- Be comfortable starting and growing a desk from scratch
- Enjoy business development and building new employer relationships
- Be proactive with outreach — calls, emails, networking — and able to create opportunities
- Be personable, approachable, and a natural “people person”
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and be motivated to succeed
