Are you fuelled by the buzz of a great event? Do you love creating experiences that make people stop, smile, and say "this is the place for me"?
At Canterbury Christ Church University, we’re looking for a Recruitment and Conversion Events Officer to lead the charge in delivering unforgettable events that inspire future students and drive applications.
From packed Open Days and personalised Offer Holder events to virtual showcases that reach across the country, you’ll be at the heart of how we bring CCCU to life for prospective students and their key influencers. You'll play a hands-on role in designing and delivering events that don’t just inform, they ignite ambition.
Working in our Marketing, Communications and Recruitment team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the university - and our amazing student ambassadors - to deliver standout events that are seamless, energetic, and on-brand. Your ideas, creativity, and passion will help shape how we connect with future students at a pivotal moment in their journey.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of running successful large-scale events from concept to completion
- A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience), ideally with a professional Marketing or Events Planning qualification
- A good understanding of the value of giving excellent service to prospective students, their influencers and other stakeholders
- The ability to work to multiple, tight deadlines and flexibility to work out of hours as required.
This is more than a job - it’s a chance to shape futures and be part of a team that believes higher education should be within reach for everyone.
How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is Flexible and connected (Professional Services). Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
How to apply
Start date for applications: 7th of August 2025
Closing date for applications: 28th of August 2025
Interviews are to be held: TBC 9th or 10th of September
