Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Manage scheduling and appointment bookings for staff members.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Assist with clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Utilise Google Suite and QuickBooks for various administrative tasks as required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
- Support other administrative staff with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is desirable.
- Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with Square is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer software including Google Suite and other office applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A friendly disposition with a professional attitude towards work.
