The Henson Leisure Group is a prominent provider of private leisure and holiday parks and holiday homes located across West and South West Wales. We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist /Administrator to join our team working across 2 sites – our flagship leisure park, Saundersfoot Bay in Saundersfoot and our holiday home showground, Broughton Leisure, based in Kilgetty.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service whilst managing a variety of administrative tasks.
This role requires someone who is friendly, outgoing and organised, who has great customer service skills, and the ability to handle working across two different sites.
You’ll be working as part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Park and Showground, by greeting guests, dealing with queries that arise, managing some administrative tasks, and providing some support to the wider team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Reception areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide professional and friendly support and guidance to owners / prospective owners in line with Company policies.
- Deal with complaints and/or concerns raised in a timely manner, escalating matters and gaining support from the wider team where necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the sites, ensuring that high standards are maintained.
- Liaise with the on-site teams and provide support to them as appropriate.
- Liaise with external contractors when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with data entry processes
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
Hours of Work
9-5.30 – Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday Saturday (40 Hours per week) with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.
Please Note
- This role is not solely an office-based role. Some elements of the role are physical therefore you must be physically mobile and keen to get out and about on our parks and in and out of caravans to ensure that our caravans are maintained to a high standard.
- You must have the flexibility to be available over bank holidays, weekends and school holidays during peak periods and to work the work pattern set out above.
- You must have your own transport and be able to drive as part of the role, potentially moving between sites on working days.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
