Overview

We are a family run nursery looking to recruit a qualified and passionate nursery practitioner to join our team in Bradford on Avon. We are hoping to find someone that will already have a robust knowledge of the EYFS, who has good communication and organisational skills, and who is happy and confident engaging with parents and children alike. The individual must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children. We would ideally like to hire someone who is already qualified to L3 or higher, however a L2 with ambitions to develop further would be considered. Interest in further training and development to L4, L5 or BA would be viewed favourably and supported.

The role can be either full time (40 hours over 4 days) or part time (30 hours over 3 days). The day(s) off for this role will be set (same day weekly) and all staff receive 5.6 of their working weeks as annual leave.

Scope of the position:

To work alongside the rest of our team to ensure that all children attending the setting are receiving the highest quality care, that they are kept safe and are receiving rich and stimulating play experiences, which meet their individual needs. The perfect candidate will have ample childcare experience and qualification and will be looking for career progression in their future, potentially moving into team leadership roles.

To ensure the setting is offering each and every child enough support in all aspects and components of the EYFS curriculum .

To meet requirements of regulatory bodies with relation to EYFS matters, SENCO, Child Protection and Safeguarding and Health and Safety.

To ensure that company policies, procedures and ethos are adhered to.

To encourage children to learn and develop through play in a child friendly, informal way.
