TLC LIVE is a well established online education provider, currently working with schools, parents and Local Authorities both nationally and internationally. We specialise in delivering high-quality education provided by qualified teachers, to pupils across a wide range of needs, from catch up tutoring to operating a growing online school.
We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our head office team on a part time basis (3 days per week), to support with qualifications administration as well as monitoring and improving learning quality.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Learning Support
- Create and maintain high-quality teaching and learning resources across the curriculum for multiple subjects.
- Review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with qualification specifications.
- Support teachers in embedding high-quality content into lessons and assessments.
- Lead lesson observations to ensure consistency and quality of delivery.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Exam Facilitation
- Coordinate the administration and evidence-gathering for Exams including, but not limited to, ASDAN Certificates, AQA Unit Awards, and NCFE Qualifications (including Functional Skills), GCSEs and iGCSEs.
- Liaise with awarding bodies, teachers, students, and exam centres to ensure compliance and smooth facilitation of assessments.
- Monitor adherence to qualification and exam regulations.
Quality Assurance & Investigations
- Contribute to internal quality assurance processes, including audits and compliance checks.
- Support with investigations relating to assessments, student progress, or exam irregularities.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and prepare reports as required.
Training & Coordination
- Support training and development of staff in relation to content creation, assessment, and qualification processes.
- Provide guidance and advice on qualification requirements to staff, parents, and students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient coordination of learning and qualification pathways.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be a qualified teacher (with QTS number)
- Educated to degree level.
- Experience in secondary education, with a strong understanding of assessment processes.
- Knowledge of awarding bodies.
- Experience of creating and quality-assuring curriculum content.
- Proficient in using technology for content development and exam facilitation.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
