We are now looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to join our growing team.
You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of food safety, product quality, and compliance across all site operations. From raw material intake to finished product checks, you will perform audits, swabbing, and quality assessments, while logging findings, raising non-conformances, and supporting corrective actions. Working cross-functionally, you will champion best practices and help foster a strong quality culture throughout the site.

The Responsibilities
As a QA Auditor, your responsibilities will cover the full quality and compliance scope of site operations, including:
- Quality Assessments: Carrying out intake and in-process quality checks on raw materials, mixes, and finished products to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Auditing & Compliance: Performing internal audits (GMP, HACCP, PRP), identifying non-conformances, and following through on corrective actions.
- Hygiene & Environmental Monitoring: Conducting scheduled swabbing, sampling, hygiene checks, and supporting vegan and equipment validations.
- Calibration & Verification: Ensuring critical equipment like pH meters, scales, and temperature probes are verified and calibrated in line with schedule.
- Documentation & Reporting: Logging swabs, results, and product samples accurately, and completing all paperwork in a timely and organised manner.
- Support & Continuous Improvement: Participating in trials, supporting site visits, resolving quality issues, and collaborating with departments to drive improvements.
- Working Practices: Maintaining punctuality and flexibility across shifts and site areas, while aligning with operational needs.

The Skillset & Experience:
Essential
- Previous QA experience in food manufacturing
- Auditing and resolving quality/safety issues
- Understanding of traceability and hygiene practices
- Supporting and training others on QA processes
- Basic Food Hygiene & HACCP Training
Desirable & Qualifications
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification
- Experience with micro testing and interpreting results
- Internal auditing and delivering improvement initiatives
- Experience in chilled or high-care food production environments
