As part of the purchasing team the Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for ensuring all purchase orders are processed efficiently, customer wanted dates are achieved through the daily expediting process and where concerns are found these are escalated in a timely manner. The role will also be responsible for pricing enquiries and ensuring the integrity of the data within the system (IFS)
Main Responsibilities:
· Run MRP for stocked parts and convert requisitions to purchase orders.
· Email purchase orders to suppliers and where necessary replicate order on supplier portal
· Action Non-Stocked Requisitions
· Expedite Orders to ensure all goods arrive by wanted date.
· Escalate all concerns to buyer in a timely manner.
· Ensure purchase order notes on system are relevant and accurate.
· Purchasing Email in box is actioned in a timely manner.
· Communicate status of enquiries on a regular basis to requestor
· Send out RFQ’s as and when required.
· Responsible for the accurate entry of pricing and lead time on ERP system (IFS)
· Maintaining supplier price lists
· Build relationships with suppliers, both foreign and domestic
· Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
· Any other administrative duties that may be required within the department.

Required Experience
I.T. Literate
Previous experience of working within a purchasing environment is preferred but not essential.
