Job Advert

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Property Inspector to join our property repairs team. If you come from a multi-trade background and want a role that combines site work, inspections, and remote reporting, this could be the perfect fit.

The Role

You’ll carry out scheduled inspections on occupied and empty properties, identifying repair needs, raising work orders remotely, and deciding whether jobs are handled in-house or by external contractors. You’ll also complete kitchen and bathroom surveys and ensure all work aligns with budget, safety standards, and our service values.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect properties for general repairs and void works
  • Raise and record repair actions using mobile tech
  • Identify materials and standards needed for works
  • Communicate clearly with tenants and contractors
  • Flag safeguarding concerns and report issues
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • Multi-trade experience
  • Strong ICT and mobile reporting skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Solid understanding of health & safety
  • Positive, proactive attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience in social housing
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Team-focused mindset

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s ready to step into a more inspection-focused role while still staying close to the tools. You’ll be part of a team that values quality, safety, and service—and you’ll help ensure our homes meet the highest standards.

We offer:

  • A performance based annual bonus + pension contributions matched up to 6%
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays and the option to buy/sell holiday
  • A uniform
  • Training & Development and opportunities for continuing professional development including regular tool box talks
  • A great team of colleagues to work with
  • Regular charitable events and a range of wellbeing activities
  • Enhanced family leave policies
  • A really competitive package of flexible employee benefits including a cycle to work scheme
  • Free parking
  • Access to two holiday homes
