We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Property Inspector to join our property repairs team. If you come from a multi-trade background and want a role that combines site work, inspections, and remote reporting, this could be the perfect fit.
The Role
You’ll carry out scheduled inspections on occupied and empty properties, identifying repair needs, raising work orders remotely, and deciding whether jobs are handled in-house or by external contractors. You’ll also complete kitchen and bathroom surveys and ensure all work aligns with budget, safety standards, and our service values.
Responsibilities
- Inspect properties for general repairs and void works
- Raise and record repair actions using mobile tech
- Identify materials and standards needed for works
- Communicate clearly with tenants and contractors
- Flag safeguarding concerns and report issues
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Multi-trade experience
- Strong ICT and mobile reporting skills
- Supervisory experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Solid understanding of health & safety
- Positive, proactive attitude
Desirable:
- Experience in social housing
- Strong customer service skills
- Team-focused mindset
