Overview
We are looking for an experienced property professional with a proven track record in lettings, with at least 2 years experience in this industry to join us as a Property Administrator to complement our fantastic Lettings team.
This a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work within a busy and thriving company. Scargill Mann & Co is an established independent Letting agency based on Pride Park in Derby City Centre.
The role consists of overseeing the day-to-day operations within our large portfolio. Ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently and meets the needs of both landlords and tenants.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and tenants are happy.
- Tenant Support: Be the main contact for tenants, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and manage maintenance and repair work, liaising with reliable contractors.
- Handle the end of tenancy process including deposit claims with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Being pro-active and advising landlords to upgrade their properties to ensure they maintained to a high standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Skills and experience required to be a successful Property Manager
- 2 years of experience in the property industry, with a strong understanding of the property maintenance processes.
- Full UK driving licence, enabling you to travel to properties and meet clients as needed.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to build rapport with tenants and landlords.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively but is also capable of working independently
