About Network Rail

At Network Rail, our mission is to connect people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. As we enter Control Period 7 (CP7), our Anglia Route Maintenance Team is delivering a major programme of infrastructure upgrades—from modernising signalling systems and enhancing station accessibility to improving safety at level crossings and supporting greener freight. We operate across three delivery units in Romford, Tottenham, and Ipswich, covering a wide range of disciplines including Track, Welding and Grinding, Off Track, Signalling & Telecoms (S&T), Electrification & Plant (E&P), and Distribution & Plant (D&P). Our Maintenance teams are responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the network, ensuring that critical infrastructure—like signals, power supplies, tracks, and bridges—is safe, reliable, and performing at its best.

CP7 brings exciting opportunities to deliver a railway for Anglia that is better, simpler and greener. Collaboration and teamwork will be a key component of our success, so we'll need to build on our strong partnerships with train and freight operators, stakeholders and supply chain colleagues. Together, we're more than up to the challenge. I look forward to working with you over the coming years.” – Katie Frost, Route Director

We’re proud to be an inclusive employer where people truly matter. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and encourage flexible working to support a healthy work-life balance. As a Disability Confident Leader, we’re committed to making our recruitment process accessible to everyone. If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a diverse team shaping the future of rail, we’d love to hear from you.

This position is based at our Tottenham MDU. This is a permanent opportunity.
