Salary Band: £22,857 – £27,000 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week
Brighter Horizons specialises in both Early Years and Adult Health & Social Care sector apprenticeships, whilst also offering a variety of sector specific courses and diplomas.
We anticipate the role developing and potentially taking on more responsibility come Spring/Summer 2026, which in turn would offer the successful candidate opportunity to develop professionally. This development would continue in an administrative direction and would continue to be office based, with potential of a day’s remote working depending on the hrs/days worked.
Job Overview
In this fast-paced pivotal role, the Programme Enrolment Officer will work closely with the Senior Team by managing the onboarding process for all programmes and providing a dedicated administrative and customer-based service.
Summary of Main Responsibilities
- Manage and implement all elements of the pre and post enrolment process from initial request for service including system onboarding, booking, carrying out and ensuring enrolment meetings take place and meet business and regulatory compliance processes and setting up funding.
- Issue contracts for service, statement of employment and other documents as required by the process using DocuSign.
- Ensure internal business tracking spreadsheets are kept up to date.
- Work with the Employer/Apprentice Engagement Lead in placing and managing apprentice applications for sector related apprenticeships.
- Following regulatory and Senior Team guidance, support allocation of appropriate programme of learning to meet career aspirations.
- Support the Employer & Apprentice Engagement Lead in managing conversion via various channels to drive successful sales outcomes
- Work at the direction of the Employer & Apprentice Lead to follow up with potential and existing customers to nurture relationships and convert leads to starts.
- Register learners for exams and issue certificates of completion.
- Assist the Head of Compliance & Finance with financial related tasks such as, invoicing/credit notes.
- Keep up to date with Department For Education, (DFE) funding rules for apprenticeships
- Build a good understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate our offer to potential customers
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Support the wider office-based team in maintaining office stock levels, managing a clean, tidy and safe working environment as well as managing incoming and outgoing post.
- Assist the Senior Team with company policy and procedure reviews.
- Assist with business wide planning and arranging events, including organising catering if required.
- Attend workshops and conferences when requested.
- Assist in booking any required travel, hotel and or any meeting room bookings that are required for a programme delivery and or assessment.
- At the direction of the Senior Team, process mailshots to support marketing campaigns.
- Work with the wider team and support the administrative side of social media marketing campaigns.
- Ensure the general cleanliness of the office and facilities.
- Any other ad-hoc task as required.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Attributes
To be successful in the role of Programme Enrolment Officer, candidates MUST have a good understanding of English apprenticeships and their regulations, including the Department for Education (DfE) Apprenticeship Funding Rules.
Ideally, candidates will have previous experience working in an educational role, ideally apprenticeships, have current knowledge of Government funded programmes – i.e. apprenticeships and have knowledge of Bud and/or other apprenticeship platforms.
Candidates should have the ability to:

Education
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above
The successful candidate will be required to complete safer recruitment checks such as DBS, references and social media.
