- Escalating any food safety breaches or quality issues, ensuring that non-conforming products are identified, held, and investigated appropriately
- Supporting the Quality Management System by ensuring all controls, checks, and procedures are completed accurately and consistently
- Upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, PPE, and company standards at all times
- Role-modelling a “Clean as You Go” culture and ensuring workplace organisation and visual standards are maintained
- Supporting the Technical team in responding to audits, non-conformances, and consumer complaints with corrective and preventative actions
- Contributing to Short Interval Control Reviews to identify improvements, assign actions, and coordinate resources
- Analysing production and asset performance to drive improvements in efficiency, yields, and equipment utilisation
- Undertaking basic fault-finding and rectification on equipment, escalating issues when needed
- Ensuring equipment is well maintained through compliance with cleaning schedules and validation checks
- Driving continuous improvement by suggesting, implementing, and sharing best practices across shifts
- Bringing energy and enthusiasm to the team, acting quickly on issues, and encouraging others to do the same
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in a food or beverage production environment is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, or HACCP practices is an advantage
- A team player with good communication skills who can also work independently when required
