As a Production Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to operate machinery and automation processes to ensure efficient production while adhering to safety standards.
Your Tasks
- Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every part of the Raw Board department operational areas and attend any further training courses as required.
- Operate as a member of the team to ensure that the department areas are ran and maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift and to any ongoing projects.
- Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment.
Our Requirements
- Fork Lift Truck Licence preferred, or have operated a FLT in house (training can be provided).
- Basic standard of IT skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work on a four shift system (12 hour shifts) including nightshifts and required holiday cover.
