As the Product Owner - Digital Workplace, you’ll take the lead in defining and delivering the strategy, governance, and technical roadmap for Heathrow’s workplace technologies. This is both a l eadership and hands-on role, where you will:
- Set the vision for modern working practices, including hybrid collaboration and secure digital workplace solutions.
- Lead the strategy for Microsoft Teams and manage the team that delivers and supports them.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, Cybersecurity, and Strategy to deliver services that impact every Heathrow colleague.
- Drive adoption of new tools and features, ensuring they add value and align with enterprise IT strategy.
- Act as SME in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva Suite) while managing vendors, budgets, and KPIs.
- Leading the M365 roadmap and governance in partnership with IT Platforms.
- Designing, developing and deploying workplace technologies that are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
- Evaluating vendor product roadmaps and recommending feature adoption.
- Managing backlog prioritisation, task allocation, and timely delivery.
- Driving automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across workplace tools.
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that improve end-user experience.
- Strong track record managing modern workplace technologies, particularly Microsoft 365.
- Deep technical expertise in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Viva Suite.
- Experience in platform-level administration of Microsoft Teams and associated apps.
- Skilled at interpreting the Microsoft 365 roadmap and assessing feature impact.
- Hands-on knowledge of M365 custom solutions (SPFx, migrations with ShareGate/AvePoint).
- Experience leading teams, prioritising backlogs, and delivering projects in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Proven project leadership, customer-focused mindset, and passion for innovation.
Desirable: Experience with Teams Meeting Rooms/Telephony, Power Platform, and team leadership/mentoring.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
