Job Description

As a result of our continued success and growth in the UK, we’re looking for a full-time Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Civil & Structural design team working on Nuclear New Build projects, specifically focusing on Nuclear Island buildings of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, and similar projects. You will enjoy reinforcing your technical skills when working on the most complex buildings of a Nuclear Power Plant, cultivating strong working relationships in a multi-cultural environment to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

The successful candidate will lead structural mechanics design activities on major nuclear projects, such as Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, and other nuclear projects. This role involves advanced finite element analysis, structural assessments, and design work for reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structures under various loading conditions, including seismic, blast, and impact.

Additional Information

Work Pattern: We offer hybrid working patterns, this role will require presence in our central Bristol office 3 days per week with 2 days working remotely.

Note: Given the nature of the work, role holders may be required to undergo Basic Security Clearance (BPSS).
