An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Placement Officer to join our vibrant and supportive Placements team to help us secure the right homes for children and young people who need care and stability.
In this key role, you’ll work closely with social workers, foster carers, and external agencies to identify the most suitable placements — ensuring each child’s needs are met and every placement complies with our standards. You’ll manage referrals, track vacancies, use the Children’s Commissioning Support Resource (CCSR), and help ensure positive outcomes for children in care.
If you’re passionate about supporting children achieving positive outcome — and thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment — this could be the role for you. If you're highly organised, a great communicator, and passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you.
Working closely with practitioners, social workers, and independent agencies, the successful candidate will contribute to the stability and wellbeing of children in care by facilitating the most appropriate placement matches.

Respond to general enquiries and foster and residential placement requests, identifying suitable in-house or independent placements.
